Compressed Gases Statutory Remedial Works
Notice Description
The appointment of a principal contractor to undertake remedial repairs and parts replacement following statutory annual inspections of all laboratory gas systems across the National Oceanography Centre (NOC), Southampton. The contractor will provide a programmed approach to the works; supply, deliver, protect and coordinate all plant, equipment and materials; and act as principal contractor for all remedial activities. The scope includes contractor-designed services as defined in the contract documentation, responsibility for spatial coordination and integration with building fabric, on-site coordination with all trades and suppliers, and the provision of working, installation, control and as-installed record drawings. The contractor will be responsible for the effects of alternative plant selections and will provide extended manufacturers' warranties covering the full defects liability period.
