Summary of the contracting process

The Greater London Authority (GLA), a public authority within central government, is initiating a tender process for the provision of Rough Sleeping Services, which includes Migrant Accommodation Protection Services, Crisis Prevention and Response Services, and a London Navigator Team. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage with a planned commencement date of 5th October 2026 and is scheduled to run until 5th October 2029. This open procedure will cover health and social work services across the London area, providing rapid outreach and support to individuals sleeping rough. Businesses must note the future notice date set for 27th April 2026 for additional communications.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for growth to businesses involved in health and social work services, particularly those experienced in crisis intervention and community outreach. Organisations adept in providing rapid response to homeless individuals, especially migrants, can contribute significantly to addressing rough sleeping across London. Companies with the capability to work alongside charities and public sector organisations to provide sustainable routes off the streets are well-positioned to compete in this tender. Success will rely on a strong network and expertise in managing large-scale outreach initiatives across multiple boroughs effectively.
