This process is tagged under the industry category of miscellaneous health services and operates in several regions across the United Kingdom. The procurement exercise began with a preliminary market engagement, scheduled to culminate on 22 May 2026. The procurement process acknowledges the suitability of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), thus fostering inclusivity. The contract, set to commence on 1 January 2027 and last until December 2030, offers the possibility of renewal until the end of 2032, providing sustained business growth potential for qualified suppliers capable of delivering accessible and locally oriented health services to the university's sizeable student and staff population. The engagement seeks to address commercial considerations and optimise service delivery for both academic staff and students, marking a valuable opportunity for contributing expertise to enhance the university's health service provision.
