This notice relates to the Lambeth Community Denosumab Service and is an intention to award a contract to the existing provider via Direct Award Process C. The service provides a community-based shared care pathway for patients prescribed denosumab 60mg/ml for the treatment of osteoporosis. Patients remain under the clinical responsibility of secondary care within South East London, in accordance with the South East London Shared Care Agreement for Denosumab. Secondary care will identify and refer a cohort of clinically appropriate patients for management in the community setting. The Provider will be responsible for delivering the community service, including required blood monitoring, prescribing support, and administration of denosumab injections at clinically appropriate intervals. The service is available to patients referred by secondary care who are registered with a GP in Lambeth or are Lambeth residents and who meet the eligibility criteria set out in the contract and Shared Care Agreement. The estimated contract value is PS49,140 per annum. The contract duration is 6 months from 01/06/2026 to 30/11/2026, with an option to extend for a further 6 months at the discretion of the Authority, up to 31/05/2027. This is a direct award with no competition under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) - Direct Award Process C. As such, no award criteria were applied.
