This public procurement is categorised under school catering services and will follow a competitive flexible procedure. This tender presents a lucrative opportunity for catering companies wishing to expand their portfolio in the public sector, particularly those specialising in education services. Businesses well-suited to compete will have a track record of delivering high-quality school catering services, an ability to manage similar contracts under a Local Government Pension Scheme, and the capacity to innovate and enhance participation. The tender will be evaluated based on the Most Advantageous Tender (MAT) principles, prioritising overall value, quality, and sustainability over price alone. This opportunity is particularly aligned with SMEs, as the tender structure allows for flexible service delivery options tailored to varying school needs. This contract could foster strategic growth for caterers within Staffordshire and potentially open doors for further expansion in the local education sector.
