Summary of the contracting process

The Regional Business Services Organisation Procurement and Logistics Service (BSO PaLS) is orchestrating a procurement process centred on the delivery of psychosocial activities and community supports under the CAWT PEACEPLUS Community Connections and Wellbeing project. This initiative, set within the health and social work services industry category, specifically targets the areas of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust (SHSCT) and the Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT) in Northern Ireland. The procurement is currently in the planning stage, with a prior information notice published. Interested suppliers are invited to participate in pre-market engagement exercises, which are crucial in shaping the forthcoming service delivery, with a key engagement deadline set for 29th May 2026 at 15:00. A virtual information session is slated for 2nd June 2026, providing an interactive forum for suppliers to gain insights and raise queries.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in health and social care services to expand their operations into Northern Ireland’s market. The planned procurement focuses on community health, wellness, and psychosocial support services, suggesting suitability for organisations with experience in these areas. Participation in the pre-market engagement offers businesses the chance to influence the final tender specifications, aligning service delivery with the contracting authorities' needs. Organisations capable of delivering both individual and group-based interventions will find this tender particularly advantageous, potentially facilitating meaningful growth and the opportunity to establish or strengthen their presence within the Northern Ireland health service sector. Engaging at this stage allows for strategic positioning prior to the formal commencement of the procurement process.
