The Provision of Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance for HGV Cranes
Notice Description
This direct award is made for the following services - * Mechanical and electrical repair of Palfinger HGV cranes * 24/7 coverage across the WWU geography (Wales, South England and South West England) * Remote assistance for immediate phone / digital diagnostics * All inspections meet LOLER and PUWER standards * Palfinger approved supplier to ensure warranty is maintained The supplier must also - * Meet all WWU on site health & safety requirements * Provide appropriate waste controls, including bunding, ensuring they take all waste away with them and can evidence their waste management process. * The supplier must hold an appropriate waste carrier licence * The supplier will not sub-contract this work This does not include the hydraulics associated with the HGV cranes.
Procurement Information
WWU own 55 Mercedes-Benz Lorry Loaders with Palfinger cranes and have a requirement to maintain these vehicles in line with their warranty provisions and provide manufacturer-certified technical support. This level of service must be maintained to ensure compliance with our Operators Licence, ISO9001 and ALLMI regulations. TH White is the only authorised UK distributer and repairer of these vehicles who can guarantee the required level of manufacturer-certified technical support and guaranteed maintenance in line with regulatory obligations. TH White is the only UK supplier who has access to the proprietary Palfinger diagnostic tools, factory-trained engineers and 90% first-pick rate on genuine Palfinger parts.
