Notice Description

Access track improvements including installation of drainage to be completed by the end of September 2026. Location: Rodney Stoke, Mendip, Somerset * Excavate a trench down the centre of the track and install 300mm perforated pipe. * Install spurs at 10 metre intervals at 45 degrees to catch run off on track. * Connect into existing ditch at the bottom of stone track * Backfill central trench with clean drainage stone * Resurface the track either side of the trench to be durable to take agricultural machinery (specific material in tender response); spurs should be concrete lined or similar to enable easy maintenance.
