West Berkshire Council is looking for a provider to deliver Housing Related Support Services for adults with a mental health diagnosis. The provider will work in partnership with housing providers and mental health services. The service will be delivered across West Berkshire to approximately 20-30 service users. The aim is to promote independence, wellbeing, and prevent homelessness.

West Berkshire Council is undertaking a Pre-Market Engagement (PME) exercise in relation to the commissioning of Housing Related Support Services for adults with a mental health diagnosis. The Council is seeking to engage with providers to inform the development of the service model, specification, and procurement approach. The service will deliver flexible, person-centred housing-related support to individuals living in a range of tenures across West Berkshire, with a focus on enabling people to maintain their tenancies, develop independent living skills, and improve overall wellbeing. The service is currently in place and the successful provider will be required to work in partnership with the existing housing provider to support service delivery, with arrangements for the accommodation and lease expected to continue. Through this PME, the Council is particularly interested in gaining market insight on service delivery models, innovation, capacity within the sector, and the potential challenges and opportunities associated with delivering this type of support.
