Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is in the planning stage of a public procurement process to commission a therapeutic treatment service aimed at supporting children and young people who are survivors of sexual abuse. Categorised under health services, this procurement involves a market engagement event scheduled for 10th June 2026 from 12:00 to 13:30. The event will be held online via Microsoft Teams and requires interested parties to register by 9th June 2026. This initiative aims to gather feedback on the draft service specification, which is currently subject to change, and offers service providers the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future tendering process.

This procurement process presents a promising opportunity for businesses specialising in health services, particularly those with expertise in providing therapeutic treatments to young survivors of sexual abuse. Companies experienced in delivering resilient, person-centred support services that promote positive emotional and psychological outcomes would find this opportunity particularly fitting. By participating in the upcoming event, businesses can engage in a dialogue over the service requirements and potentially influence the final service model, thus positioning themselves advantageously for future bidding. Such engagement not only fosters business growth but also contributes to enhancing community health outcomes.
