16 AND 17 YEAR OLDS ACCOMMODATION AND SUPPORT SERVICE- AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The service will * prevent youth homelessness by providing safe, stable, high-quality accommodation across the borough. * deliver personalised, outcome-focused, co-produced support plans that build resilience, independent living skills and progression towards education and employment. * provide a nurturing, trauma-informed environment that promotes emotional wellbeing, engagement and trust, with early identification and referral for specialist support (including CAMHS) where required. * support safe mediation with young people and families to restore relationships and enable a safe return home where appropriate. * promote healthy lifestyles and relationships, including access to information, safe spaces for discussion and routes into support for mental/emotional health, sexual health, substance misuse and exploitation.
