Cheshire East Council is seeking a provider to deliver a hearing support service for D/deaf people living in Cheshire East. This includes information and advice, support with communication (BSL) and face to face hearing support assessments and provision of equipment in the home.

Planning Information

Cheshire East Council is conducting a soft market testing survey to inform the future design of our all-age hearing impairment support service commission to support people with a hearing impairment (d/Deaf) and dual sensory loss (deafblind). Note: for people with a severe dual sensory loss (deafblind), it is expected that the provider would provide the hearing related support element. The soft market testing will provide an opportunity to obtain insight from providers who may be interested in providing a hearing impairment support service in Cheshire East. The closing date for this survey is 26th June 2026.
