Notice Description
Adult Mental Health Acute Inpatient Service:- The provision of high quality holistic care in a safe and therapeutic setting for service users in the most acute and vulnerable state of their illness and who cannot be managed at home with the involvement of the Intensive Home Treatment Team. Provided in collaboration with service user, carers, statutory and non-statutory organisations in order to ensure that admissions and inpatient treatment is timely and appropriate. Acute inpatient service: aims to provide a high standard of care and treatment in a safe and therapeutic setting for service users in the most acute and vulnerable stage of their illness. Admissions are considered where this would play a necessary and purposeful part in a person's progress to recovery from the acute stage of their illness.

Provided in collaboration with service user, carers, statutory and non-statutory organisations in order to ensure that admissions and inpatient treatment is timely and appropriate. Admissions are considered where this would play a necessary and purposeful part in a person's progress to recovery from the acute stage of their illness. This notice is the Trust's statement of our intention to award a contract to an existing provider following the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, direct award process C. The approximate lifetime value of this contract is PS8,800,000 The services will be provided between 1st April 2026 and 31st March 2028.
Procurement Information
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 24 June 2026. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
