Summary of the contracting process

Anglian Water Services Ltd is currently in the planning phase of a procurement process, focusing on market engagement for their 2026 Occupational Health Service. This process is centred on identifying effective solutions to maintain and enhance the health and wellbeing of their employees. As a private utility company, Anglian Water seeks feedback from potential suppliers in order to refine their requirements. The engagement event is not only a means to gather industry insights but also to ensure that forthcoming tender opportunities are well-aligned with market capabilities. The ongoing market engagement stage is scheduled to conclude by 31st August 2026, and it is occurring in Huntingdon, UK, under the service category of company health services (CPV 85147000). It prepares for a future procurement with a contract period starting on 1st July 2027, valued at up to £1.44 million. There is no current deadline for question submissions, and a formal tender process has not yet been guaranteed.

This initiative offers a significant opportunity for businesses providing occupational health services to engage early with a leading UK utility company and potentially influence the shape of a future tender. Companies with expertise in health surveillance, fitness for work assessments, sickness absence management, and workplace adjustments are ideally positioned to benefit. Moreover, those focusing on well-being promotion and incident and illness investigation can leverage this engagement to showcase their capabilities. Given Anglian Water's comprehensive approach to employee health, businesses capable of delivering bespoke, scalable solutions that cater to a diverse workforce will find themselves particularly well-suited to potentially compete in future procurement exercises. This engagement serves as a vital platform for building relationships and aligning services with one of the UK's foremost utilities, paving the way for growth and collaboration opportunities in the sector.
