Summary of the contracting process

The London Borough of Lambeth is commissioning supported employment services for people who need help moving into work and sustaining employment. Providers will use the targeted Individual Placement and Support (IPS) “Place and Train” model, which supports rapid job entry followed by up to 12 months of support for both the employee and employer. The contract is divided into four lots and may appoint up to four local providers. Lot 1 covers integrated welfare, benefits and employment support. Lots 2 to 4 cover community innovation and specialist delivery. The services are community, welfare and social services, including support for disabled people and for children and young people.
