The Common Services Agency (more commonly known as Public Services Delivery Scotland) ('the Authority'), acting through its division National Procurement, is undertaking this renewal procurement of a hr-HPV Primary Screening & Cytology Triage Managed Service Contract on behalf of all entities constituted pursuant to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978 (i.e. all NHS Scotland Health Boards, Special Health Boards and the Authority or other NHS Organisation established pursuant to the NHS (Scotland) Act 1978), any integrated Joint Boards established pursuant to the new Public Bodies (Joint Working) Scotland Act 2014 (collectively hereafter referred to as 'Participating Authorities') where applicable.

The MSC can include: - Supply of sample taker consumables, including clinical and self-sampling kits - Laboratory consumables, reagents and disposal - Transport of samples to processing laboratories - Hr-HPV testing equipment - Cytology testing equipment, including digital cytology - Installation and maintenance of equipment - Training - Transfer of results to the Scottish Cervical Call Recall System (SCCRS)

This Prior Information Notice is to enable interested suppliers to obtain an invitation to Supplier Presentation Sessions to be held on Microsoft TEAMS in early August 2026. Suppliers should contact Alan Summers, Category Manager, on e-mail: alan.summers2@nhs.scot by Friday 3rd July 2026 to register their interest and to obtain further details regarding the Presentations. Space is limited to a maximum of eight Companies, each with up to a 60 minute presentation (to include Questions and Answers). Further information is included in the attached document, including how eight Companies will be selected if more than eight Companies are interested in taking part. The Contract Notice for the Tender is expected to be issued towards the end of February 2027, when interested parties must make separate application for this by registering on the Public Contracts Scotland -- Tenders website (https://www.publictendersscotland.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk).
