This service, categorised under health and social work services, is intended to offer preventative and practical support for adults with low level housing needs. The contract, managed under Welsh devolved regulations, has an annual funding cap of £350,000, with a term of 5 years and a potential 36-month extension. A Market Engagement Event is scheduled on 28th July 2026 from 10 am to 12 pm at the TCBC Civic Centre in Pontypool, NP4 6YB, providing stakeholders an opportunity to engage before the procurement advances further, with a future notice date set for 14th September 2026.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the health and social work services sector, particularly those specialising in housing-related support. SMEs and voluntary, community, and social enterprises could find this contract lucrative, given the inclusive approach to support and maintain independent living for vulnerable groups while fostering community cohesion. The service, through early intervention strategies, aims to enhance the sustainability of accommodation and reduce isolation, thereby proving highly suitable for organisations with innovative solutions in preventative care and community engagement.
