Planning Information
This Notice is to inform the market that preliminary market engagement has taken place in relation to the West of England Processing of Mattress waste tender. The Contracting Authority (South Gloucestershire Council) undertook a desktop analysis of possible market options, contacted some suppliers and discussed key aspects of service delivery and asked questions to ascertain key facts regarding the process of mattress disposal to inform the specification. This was to develop the authority’s requirements and approach to the procurement, and identify potential suppliers that may be able to supply the services required. As part of this preliminary market engagement South Gloucestershire Council sought to best place the tender for the market to bid and to also meet the West of England requirements.
