Ridgeway Secure In patient Healthcare service
Notice Description
This service will provide a physical healthcare solution to an existing gap in mainstream service delivery in the trust's secure inpatient service Ridgeway. The supplier will be expected to provide General Practitioner Services to Secure Inpatient Services within Ridgeway. The provision of service will be based on * 3 (4 hour) clinical sessions per week * 5 hours of service development/clinical supervision per week. * The number of sessions will be adjusted to allow for Bank Holidays, sickness and annual leave of the General Practitioner(s). There will be access to 4 qualified doctors 2 of which are registrars to suppor the service This results in a premium of 52 x 3 clinical sessions and 52 x 5 hours. Included within these hours. This service will be required to report on a monthly basis, attend contract meetings on a quarterly basis and contract review will be annually. Zetland medical practice has proven and established ability to continue to provide these services effectively.

Theservice will be awarded under PSR direct Award C from 1st April 2026 to 31st march 2029 with and optional 24 month extension.

Procurement Information
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 14/07/26. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
