BT Redcare is the sole provider of the digital fibre-optic cabling infrastructure which is used for the transmission of data and operation of NMDDC town-centre CCTV systems since the NIO transferred CCTV equipment to both predecessor Councils in 2008-09. BT Redcare is a single source supply contract where fibre-optic cables link each camera to a main. Purpose of the notice is to inform total aggregated spend on previous Direct Awards that were under the Light Touch threshold.
