Gloucestershire County Council is exploring the potential to enter into a contract for the sale of electricity generated by the Gloucestershire Energy from Waste Facility. The Council is undertaking preliminary market engagement to understand current market appetite, commercial structures, pricing mechanisms and contractual arrangements available before determining its preferred delivery mode.

The Council is undertaking preliminary market engagement to understand current market appetite, commercial structures, pricing mechanisms and contractual arrangements available before determining its preferred delivery model This engagement does not constitute a call for competition. Whilst the Council is publishing this notice, this is not a procurement exercise therefore PA23 does not apply. The Authority has published this UK2 Notice on a voluntary basis to inform the market of an opportunity for the sale of electricity only.
