Hull University Teaching Hospitals is exploring the future supply of bespoke, custom-made dental consumables for NHS dental services. The scope includes crowns, bridges, dentures, sleep-apnoea devices and mandibular advancement devices, alongside related dental implant, orthodontic and prosthodontic products. This is a goods procurement, managed with York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust through a joint procurement and market-engagement arrangement between York and Hull. The lot is explicitly considered suitable for SMEs, so smaller laboratories and specialist suppliers should assess whether they can meet the anticipated geographic coverage, product breadth and service capacity, either independently or through suitable delivery or manufacturing partnerships.
