Respite Rooms
Notice Description
Bristol Respite Rooms offers short stay accommodation and support for women experiencing multiple disadvantage including homelessness and domestic abuse/sexual violence. The housing and support element of this service is being recommissioned and is funded by the Homelessness, Rough Sleeping and Domestic Abuse Grant from MHCLG. Specialist IDSVA support is provided by an experienced provider funded by Public Health. Bristol Respite Rooms aims to provide safe accommodation and intensive support, drawing on multi-disciplinary input from sector wide services. Women benefit from trauma informed support to assess needs and secure move-on to appropriate, sustainable accommodation. The contract requires providers to have an identified building, approx. 10-12 bed, to deliver this service.
Planning Information
The Market Engagement Event will include a presentation on this project, outlining the service specifications, rationale, and expected outcomes. There will also be a presentation covering the procurement process, next steps, and indicative timescales. Questions may be asked during the event. These will be collated by BCC and shared with all providers after the session. Providers may also submit clarification questions following the event; these will be anonymised and shared with all attendees to ensure transparency. Event Date & Time: Wednesday 19th August 2026 14:00 - 15:00 Event Location: Microsoft Teams invite - to be sent out to all interested suppliers ahead of the call.
