Notice Description

The Authority is seeking to engage the market ahead of a forthcoming procurement for the provision of facilities maintenance services for the British Embassy Muscat covering cleaning services, gardening services, pest control services, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing services. The initial contract is two (2) years from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028, with one option to extend for an additional year, subject to the satisfactory performance. The estimated amount for this provision is PS640,000 (excluding VAT) for the overall period of performance (including option year). This EME exercise aims to assess market capability and interest in advance of the formal procurement process.

Our agenda includes: (a) Discuss the service requirements (b) Procurement process, including criteria and evaluation (c) timelines (d) question and answers/clarifications Please see details below for the virtual EME session schedule: Date: 18 August 2026 Time: 10:00AM Muscat time Location via MS Teams If your organization is interested in participating, please send an email to MNLProcurement@fcdo.gov.uk indicating your expression of interest with the subject "OMM Integrated Facilities Maintenance Services" no later than 14 August 2026. Once we receive your expression of interest, we will send you an MS Teams invite with the necessary details. Information gathered through this EME will also assist the Authority in refining the final procurement approach. Participation in this PME does not constitute any commitment to tender nor guarantee inclusion in the subsequent procurement stage.
