Buckinghamshire Council intends to commission a Shared Lives Service for adults with eligible care and support needs in Buckinghamshire. The service will promote independence, choice and inclusion within the community, while supporting the continued growth of Shared Lives provision. This is a health and social work service, covering social work and related support. Delivery is in Buckinghamshire. The council is the public-sector buyer and is seeking information from the supplier market to understand current provision and shape its forthcoming procurement. The RFI is intended to help the council understand the market, so suppliers can use it to explain their service model, delivery capability, experience and approach to future growth before the procurement reaches the tender stage.

Notice Description

Buckinghamshire Council (the Council) is seeking to commission a Shared Lives Service that promotes independence, choice and community inclusion for adults with eligible care and support needs, while supporting the continued growth of the service. The purpose of this Request for Information is to help the Council better understand the current Shared Lives market and inform the forthcoming procurement process. The anticipated contract term is four (4) years, with the option to extend for a further four (4) years.
