Sunderland City Council is procuring specialist legionella monitoring and maintenance services for its buildings and other authority sites in Sunderland. The work covers temperature monitoring; shower descaling and disinfection; inspections of cold-water storage tanks and water heaters; thermostatic mixing valve servicing; and cleaning and disinfection. This is a services contract for technical testing, analysis, environmental monitoring and related water-safety maintenance. Delivery is divided geographically across Sunderland, covering Washington, the Coalfields and Sunderland North, plus Sunderland South, West and East. Suppliers will need the operational capacity to manage either geographic area and maintain consistent records and service standards across more than 130 sites.
