Notice Description
EEM is seeking to set up a framework arrangement with those IT Resellers who have the widest and greatest spend with vendors across technology provision. Bidders must submit their PSQ responses before 17:00hrs on 4th September 2026. All responses must be submitted through the https://metaprocurement.mytenders.co.uk/ The scope of this procurement is for IT Reseller suppliers, who have a minimum turnover of PS200m per year. The themes, product and services are set out in the Scope and Specification (Page 19) of this document. EEM considers this framework will help: * enable EEM members, whether existing or future, and the wider public sector to call off services provided by IT Resellers in an efficient and compliant way. * provide better value to the buyer by creating a fairer and more efficient supply chain. * improve understanding and knowledge amongst buyers, creating a more vibrant marketplace. * support public sector buyers IT strategies enabling more aligned value propositions. The IT Reseller 2 Framework has been established to provide UK public sector organisations with a compliant, efficient and flexible route to market for IT products, software, cloud licensing and associated reseller services. The framework brings together experienced IT resellers capable of supplying a broad range of market leading technology products and services from multiple manufacturers. It has been designed to simplify procurement, improve commercial outcomes and provide customers with access to trusted suppliers through a single national framework. Recognising that public sector organisations have differing procurement requirements, governance arrangements and internal capability, the framework offers two compliant call-off options: 1. Framework Desktop Calculator - enabling customers to identify the supplier best able to meet their specific requirements using a transparent, objective and pre-defined selection methodology contained within the Framework Agreement. 2. Competitive Selection Process - enabling customers to undertake a further competition where they wish to evaluate supplier-specific solutions, delivery approaches or additional value. This approach provides customers with the flexibility to select the most appropriate procurement route while maintaining compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and ensuring value for money, transparency and fairness. The framework supports a broad range of technology procurement requirements, including hardware, software, cloud subscriptions, licensing, peripherals and associated reseller services.
