Summary of the contracting process

The UK Atomic Energy Authority intends to establish a framework for computer numerical control (CNC) machinery. The requirement supports six existing multi-axis CNC milling and turning machining centres. It is expected to cover annual maintenance by original equipment manufacturer (OEM) engineers; OEM parts and labour supplied and installed for breakdown repairs; and the supply of new CNC machines. The procurement combines machinery and related maintenance, repair and installation services. Work and equipment will support UKAEA operations at Culham Science Centre in Oxfordshire.
