The Borough Council of Calderdale ("the Council") is commissioning a Community Support for Stroke Recovery and Prevention Service, which will focus on the prevention of, and recovery from, stroke. The service will commence on 1st April 2027 for a period of five years, with the option to extend for a period of up to 24 months. The service is designed to provide advice and information about stroke, its impacts and to support recovery, to increase and promote control, choice and independence.
