Summary of the contracting process

The Ministry of Justice commissioned a structured lived experience engagement service for the South West Probation Region. The service gives people on probation and people in prison consistent opportunities to influence how probation and related services are designed and delivered, so their views and experiences inform continuous improvement. Notice Description

In June 2020 the Ministry of Justice established the Probation Services Dynamic Framework (PSDF) to allow the Authority and Participating Bodies to purchase services to deliver rehabilitative and resettlement Interventions. The Dynamic Framework and subsequent Call-Off Competitions are conducted pursuant to Section 7 of the PCR 2015 (Social and Other Specific Services) the 'Light Touch Regime'. This Contract Award Notice details the award of a call-off competition conducted by the Authority through the Ministry of Justice's Probation Service Dynamic Framework (PSDF). The Probation Service sought to commission a service to deliver a structured lived experience engagement programme. The service will provide people on probation and in prison with meaningful and consistent opportunities to influence the design and delivery of services, ensuring that their views, experiences and insights are heard, considered and acted upon to support continuous service improvement. Options: If a bidder scored less than 40 on questions TC001, TC002, TC003, TC004 and TC005 the Authority reserved the right to remove that Bidder from the competition An overall minimum Quality Threshold of 50% also applied to the overall score of the Tender Response against the Quality Criteria.
