HAC6149 Mental Health Accommodation with Support
Notice Description
This procurement will provide at least 69 supported living units, including both mixed-gender and male-only accommodations, for residents with serious mental illness. It will also include a dedicated service for individuals transitioning from specialist inpatient care, including specialist forensic mental health inpatient provision. Services delivered under this contract will meet residents' needs in line with the Care Act and Section 117 of the Mental Health Act, addressing both mental health and co-occurring vulnerabilities such as substance use, alongside broader assessed support needs. The services will focus on delivering personalised outcomes, supporting residents to sustain recovery, improve quality of life, reduce reliance on statutory or acute clinical interventions, and progress toward more independent living. The contract will run for three years, with the option to extend for an additional two years, providing stability and sufficient time to establish and embed appropriate provision.
