Summary of the contracting process

Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is establishing a framework for domiciliary care services in Merthyr Tydfil. The work covers the delivery of health and social care services to people in their own homes across six geographical areas: two Central zones, two North zones and two South zones. The framework is divided into six lots, with contracts awarded for services in the allocated lot areas. It is a closed framework intended to appoint up to six participants, and a supplier can be awarded no more than one lot.
