Notice Description
Islington Council's care home (block) contracts are approaching expiry. The Council is hoping to engage providers on the future of care home services in Islington. This engagement is not related to a specific contract or service at this stage.

This Notice is for information purposes only and is not a formal invitation to tender. Its aim is to enhance transparency and competition. All details provided here may be updated or changed in any tender notices. The Authority reserves the right to cancel, postpone, suspend or abort its procurements at any stage. The issue of this notice in no way commits the Authority to commence a procurement process. The Council would like to invite suppliers to an information and engagement session on 8 October from 11:30-1pm. During this event, commissioners will share the Council’s evolving vision and strategic objectives for its care home services, outline how we have engaged the market to date, and share information on next steps. This engagement session will aim to provide the necessary contextual information to facilitate future workshops or sessions with the market focused on innovation and service delivery models. The session will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams. Following the session, interested suppliers will be able to complete a survey to provide their views on innovative service models. Following this, the Council may schedule workshops or meetings to discuss models. For further information please register your interest via the London Tenders Portal.
