National Grid Electricity Distribution plc plans to buy substation compound equipment for sites across the Midlands, South West and South Wales. This is a goods procurement covering six areas: arc suppression coils; neutral earthing resistors; neutral earthing reactors; cable boxes and mono blocs; substation earthing materials; and bund water control equipment. Lot Information

Supply of Arc Suppression Coils

Lot 1 This lot is for the Supply of Arc Suppression Coils, this shall be produced in accordance to NGED Engineering Specification EE56 which will be shared at tender stage.

Supply of Neutral Earthing Resistors

Lot 2 This lot is for the Supply of Neutral Earthing Resistors, this shall be produced in accordance to NGED Engineering Specification EE123 which will be shared at tender stage.

Supply of Neutral Earthing Reactors

Lot 3 This lot is for the Supply of Neutral Earthing Reactors, this shall be produced in accordance to NGED Engineering Specification EE9 which will be shared at tender stage.

Supply of Cable Boxes and Mono Blocs

Lot 4 This lot is for the Supply of Cable Boxes and Mono Blocs, this shall be produced in accordance to NGED Engineering Specification requirements which will be shared at tender stage.

Supply of Substation Earthing Materials

Lot 5 This lot is for the Supply of Substation Earthing Materials, this shall be produced in accordance to NGED Engineering Specification EE132 which will be shared at tender stage. The items required may include but not limited to Deep Earthing Systems, Exothermic Jointing Equipment, Earthing Tape and Fittings and Earth Rods.

Supply of Bund Water Control Equipment

Lot 6 Supply of Bund Water Control Equipment This lot is for the Supply of Bund Water Control Equipment, this shall be produced in accordance to NGED Engineering Specification EE100 which will be shared at tender stage.
