Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board intends to award a contract, without competition, under the SBS10203 Insourcing of Clinical Services Framework in accordance with Regulation 21 of the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025. The contract will provide additional in sourced endoscopy services to support diagnostic recovery, improve Cancer Pathway performance and reduce endoscopy waiting list backlogs. The service will deliver up to 52 additional endoscopy lists between October 2026 and March 2027, providing additional capacity to support the delivery of Ministerial Diagnostic Targets and timely access to diagnostic procedures for patients.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board intends to award a contract, without competition, under the SBS10203 Insourcing of Clinical Services Framework in accordance with Regulation 21 of the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025. This is a notice of intention to award a contract based on a framework agreement without competition. The contract is for the provision of additional insourced endoscopy services to support delivery of Ministerial Diagnostic Targets, improve Cancer Pathway performance and reduce endoscopy waiting list backlogs. The services will include up to 52 additional weekend endoscopy sessions delivered by a multidisciplinary clinical team, including Endoscopists, Endoscopy Nurses, Recovery Nurses, Decontamination Technicians, Coordinators and Pre-Assessment Nurses, providing additional diagnostic capacity and supporting waiting list recovery. The estimated lifetime value of the contract is GBP 293,071.34 excluding VAT. The services are intended to be provided between November 2026 and March 2027.
