The stated annual contract value is approximately £275,000; the estimated total value is £1,375,000 including VAT. The contract is a single lot. This is suited to suppliers with a proven record of cleaning in secondary schools and the operational capacity to provide a reliable, adequately staffed service across a varied school estate. The buyer expects resilient arrangements to cover sickness, absence and vacancies, supported by on-site supervision, clear accountability and regular engagement with school leaders. Suppliers need robust quality assurance, inspections, performance measures, monthly management reporting and prompt corrective action. Capability in daytime and responsive cleaning, holiday and deep cleaning, and adapting to school lettings, events and changing needs will be relevant. The school also seeks modern, maintained equipment and appropriate products and methods for specialist areas and different flooring. Suppliers able to improve efficiency, train staff, introduce suitable innovations and apply environmentally responsible practices while maintaining hygiene standards are well placed. The contract will operate on a guaranteed performance basis, with the successful Supplier providing a fixed annual contract price. There will be an option to extend the contract for a further period of up to one plus one years by mutual agreement. Prince Henry's High School is a large 13-18 secondary school and Sixth Form in Evesham, Worcestershire. Cleaning standards should reflect the professional standards expected across the school. For the avoidance of doubt TUPE Regulations will apply to this contract. Whilst the monthly contract payment will represent one-twelfth of the annual contract value, a monthly reconciliation process will be undertaken to verify actual hours worked against those budgeted within the contract. Where actual hours delivered are lower than those budgeted, the Supplier will be required to provide a credit to the school. This credit will be calculated by dividing the annual contract value by the annual contracted hours to establish a contractual hourly rate, which will then be multiplied by the shortfall in hours delivered. The school is seeking a suitably experienced Supplier with a proven track record of delivering cleaning services within the secondary school sector. Preference will be given to Suppliers with a strong operational presence within the local area, enabling the provision of responsive contract support, operational resilience and service flexibility throughout the contract term.
