Summary of the contracting process

The General Dental Council is seeking a strategic partner to develop leadership across the organisation and strengthen its senior leadership community. The work covers leadership development, executive coaching and facilitation, organisational development, cultural transformation, and tailored interventions as the GDC’s needs evolve. The provider will work collaboratively with the Council to improve leadership capability, organisational culture and ways of working. This is a staff training and personal development services requirement. Delivery is across England, including Birmingham and London.

The buyer invited offers through a two-stage competitive flexible procedure. Suppliers first complete a prequalification questionnaire covering suitability, capability, financial capacity and experience; between three and five qualifying candidates are to be invited to tender. The deadline for enquiries was 15 October 2026 at 11:00, and the expression of interest deadline was 30 October 2026 at 11:00. The contract is scheduled to run from 1 February 2027 to 31 January 2030. Its estimated value is £240,000 excluding VAT (£288,000 including VAT). There is one lot.
