This opportunity suits providers of youth and community services with the capacity to deliver locally across Bishopstoke, Fair Oak and Horton Heath for young people aged 8–19. It is particularly relevant to small and medium-sized businesses and voluntary, community or social enterprises, which are explicitly considered suitable. Suppliers should be able to offer safe, accessible and inclusive activities that support young people’s wellbeing, confidence and positive participation, and shape delivery around local needs. Strong partnership working is important: the service is expected to collaborate with councils, schools, Local Area Committees and other community partners. Providers should also be able to adapt their approach as local government arrangements change. Quality and presentation together account for most of the evaluation, alongside price.
