Notice Title
Temporary Accommodation & Homelessness Supported Housing Framework Soft Market Engagement
Notice Description
Rochdale Borough Council is seeking to establish a Temporary Accommodation & Homelessness Supported Housing Framework to support the delivery of homelessness prevention and temporary accommodation services across the Borough. The proposed framework is expected to comprise multiple lots covering Bed & Breakfast and Nightly Paid Accommodation, Dispersed Accommodation for Families, and Supported Pathway Housing Services. The framework will support the Council's statutory homelessness duties by providing suitable temporary and supported accommodation for homeless households and those at risk of homelessness. Prior to commencing any procurement process, the Council is undertaking a soft market testing exercise to obtain feedback from providers on the proposed framework structure, service specifications, commercial arrangements and delivery models. Feedback received will inform the final procurement strategy and tender documentation. The Council anticipates commencing a procurement process following completion of the market engagement exercise.
Planning Information
Rochdale Borough Council will conduct a soft market testing exercise through The Chest e-tendering portal. Interested organisations will be invited to review draft specifications and supporting documentation and complete a questionnaire providing feedback on the proposed framework. Responses will be considered in the development of the final procurement strategy and tender documentation. Participation is voluntary and does not form part of any future procurement evaluation.
