A partnership has been proposed that will comprise a group of local authorities in Wales who will provide waste wood \"feedstock\" to the facility from their respective civic amenity sites. The host Authority Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council have developed the concept design for the facility and will now procure and obtain the necessary planning and environmental permits. 4. In parallel, the partnership and its advisors plan to procure an 80m x 20m steel-framed processing hall, which is intended to house the array of process plant designed to process ad-hoc wood waste into a specification woodchip suitable for panel-board manufacturing. To produce the woodchip, the scope of this opportunity may typically include a pre-crusher, shredder, picking station, screens, magnets, mobile telehandler, wheeled loader etc. 5. The plant and equipment (powered by electricity where possible, to reduce CO2 emissions) will be procured under a turnkey solution and will be installed following completion of the construction works.
