Powys Community Equipment Services
Notice Description
Powys County Council ("the Council") engaged with suitably experienced and competent Providers to provide the Powys Community Equipment Service. Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board commissioned an appropriate provider to operate the Powys Community Equipment Service for a period of three years with an option to extend for a further two years. The Powys Community Equipment Service is provided under a Partnership Agreement between Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board, with Powys County Council acting as the Lead Commissioner. The Community Equipment Service provides a range of disability and technology enabled care equipment for Powys residents for use in their own homes and, for a limited range of equipment, for use in residential and nursing homes.
