Founded by the Normans, developed in royal hands as a stronghold in the Middle Ages and restored as a Victorian family home, the castle has a romantic and colourful history.Tenders are invited for exclusive rights to operate one mobile ice cream van within the grounds of Caldicot Castle and Country Park during the 2022 summer season, April 1st to October 31st. The tenderer should propose a weekly pitch fee for the duration of the summer season, with fees and access to the site starting 1st May 2022.The tenderer should provide details of their operator's licence, length of service as an ice cream vendor, normal operating route/area covered, products sold and several photographs of their van.The operator would be free to come and go as many times a day as they deem appropriate between the hours of 8:30am and 8:30pm, seven days a week.Exclusive rights would include being the only dedicated ice-cream seller during events and festivals at the castle.
