Notice Title

Market Sounding Phenomics

Notice Description

Our vision is to have broad spectrum LED lighting suitable for all stages of plant growth and of diverse plant species. Experimental throughput is expected to increase as from experience plants complete their lifecycle more rapidly under LED lights, with improved plant growth (especially during the winter). Changing to LED lights will reduce maintenance costs (HPS bulbs require replacement at 10k hours) and the current HPS fittings have expensive electronic ballasts which appear to have a limited life span. The energy saving associated with LED lighting is an important aspect to this replacement program.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=120891.
