Notice Description

The Vale of Glamorgan Council ("the Council") wishes to purchase cleaning services ("the Services") for the unisex & disabled toilets within the Cafe building at Cosmeston Lakes Country Park, these are to be cleaned on a daily basis, 363 days per annum.The successful supplier will provide the Services under agreement to operate for one (1) year with the option to extend for up to an additional one (1) year.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=122549.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. A user guide is available at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/sitehelp/help_guides.aspx.Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems. "The Vale of Glamorgan Council has declared a Climate and Nature emergency and is committed to working with suppliers that contribute to our journey towards Net Zero Carbon"It is the Council's view that there are TUPE implications for this contract.Tenders may be submitted in Welsh, and will be treated no less favourably than a tender submitted in English.(WA Ref:122549)Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority's economic and social objectives.
