Notice Title

Helping people to 'wait well'.

Notice Description

The planned care recovery plan announced in April 2022 acknowledges that many people are experiencing pain and anxiety whilst waiting for treatment. It outlines our commitment to support people waiting in Wales. There is a plethora of resources developed by health, social care and third sector organisations to support and promote the health and well-being of those waiting, but these resources are disparate and sometimes difficult to find. WG is working with WAST to provide information on NHS111 and include links to resources and schemes to help people waiting to easily find the support they need to 'wait well'. We require a contractor to research and collate what is already available for inclusion on the website.
