Final Project Evaluation Services for the Digital Processing Centre of Excellence Project

Notice Description

Bangor University has received funding to develop the DSP Centre of Excellence project through Specific Objective 1.1 of the West Wales and the Valleys ERDF Operational Programme. Total Project Costs are PS5.947m (ERDF PS3.925m). The associated result indicator is 'Research income for HEIs'.The Digital Signal Processing Centre of Excellence project will contribute to the delivery of one of the overall aims of the West Wales and the Valleys ERDF Operational Programme: to increase the success of Welsh research institutions in attracting competitive and private research funding, to take on new academic or industrial partners, and to address new opportunities or increasing international activity.As part of the evaluation of the 2014-2020 round of ERDF funding, WEFO requires beneficiaries to undertake a robust programme of monitoring and evaluation. This operation is subject to three evaluative phases: the inception, mid-term and final stage - this contract notice is for the final, impact stage, evaluation. The initial baseline and mid-term evaluation reports are available on request. Consultants who are bidding for this final evaluation contract should consider reviewing the baseline and mid-term evaluation reports in order to gather comprehensive understanding of the elements that are being monitored.
