The Welsh Government invites proposals to re-design and produce trophies to be presented at the St David Awards Ceremony, which will take place in Cardiff in April 2023. This contract will run for a further 3 years, until April 2026, encompassing a further three St David Awards Ceremonies. This is a total of 4 events.The St David Awards are the national awards of Wales and are nominated for by the public. The finalists and winners are decided upon by the First Minister of the Welsh Government and his advisers. The St David Awards recognise and celebrate the exceptional achievements of people from all walks of life in Wales and abroad.The Awards trophies (nine plus one Special Award) will be awarded at a prestigious evening awards dinner each year.There are a total of 10 awards:* St David Award for Bravery* St David Award for Business* St David Award for Culture* St David Award for Community Spirit* St David Awards Environment Champion* St David Award for Innovation, Science and Technology* St David Award for Sport* St David Critical Worker* St David Young Person Award* The First Minister's Special AwardTo create a a single design for a trophy and produce 10 trophies of that design to be presented at the St David Awards Ceremony, which will take place in Cardiff in late April 2023. The same design will also be used for the three ceremonies after that so a total supply of 40 trophies altogether.
