The title of the tender is "Housing Solutions Embedded Case Worker" within the main procurement category of services. Interested parties must submit their expression of interest by 5pm on 11th November. The purpose is to provide an embedded support worker within the housing solutions team to support individuals being re-housed, particularly those with high and complex needs.

Housing Solutions Embedded Case Worker

Notice Description

Flintshire County Council are posting this notice to ascertain the level of interest in the market to provide this service. If you feel that your organisation has the capability to deliver this contract please email claire.green@flintshire.gov.uk to express your interest or if you have any further questions about the information contained within this speculative notice please contact Claire Green on 01352 703725.Flintshire County Council seeks to procure the services of a provider for the purposes of providing an embedded support worker within the housing solutions team to maximise information-sharing, inter-referral and joint project working. The provider will tailor the embedded service towards those being re-housed. This is likely to include those with high and complex needs and would be very much focused towards their needs, taking a more person-centred, trauma informed, and pro-active way of working. It will encompass housing advice/advocacy in respect of the re-housing, as well as being available for this cohort if needed once they have been re-housed (i.,e if problems or issues arise with arrears etc).It will take into account that some of these people may struggle to access the limited mainstream appointment only service with Shelter Cymru, whereas a more flexible, responsive service based within the Local Authority itself will be more accessible, and will help to address problems quickly before they escalate, potentially leading to the threat of homelessness again.Staff can email, phone or speak to the Caseworker for advice on any of their clients. It may be the caseworker just provides the advice or does more work direct with the client and support worker.
