Notice Description

The NHS Wales Health Collaborative works on behalf of NHS Wales and in support of Welsh Government. The national strategy for Wales has 6 key objectives. These set out the intentions to improve awareness, knowledge, and understanding of suicide and self harm across society, to deliver appropriate responses to crisis, and bereavement or the impact of suicide and self harm, and to promote and support learning. We are looking for a provider with the capacity, insights, and expertise to pull these elements together, starting with:-A multi-level suite of units on how we respond to people exposed, affected, or bereaved by sudden and unexplained deaths that could be possible suicides delivering:- basic awareness of bereavement and bereavement by suicide/sudden unexplained deaths leading to inquest (level 1)- developed understanding and knowledge regarding the ways in which people can be exposed, affected, or bereaved by sudden, unexplained deaths/suicides (level 2)-a developed skill-set to provide direct support to those exposed, affected or bereaved (levels 2/3)-A 'Training the Trainer' module/unit specifically for those delivering training that relates to suicide and self harm management and preventionWe would work with the provider to refine our understanding of the training needs, volume and capacity, and the most accessible modes of delivery, following which the list above may be modified. We have designed an audit tool to assess training and development needs across agencies, which we are hoping to deploy late 2022, which will help us to understand learner needs and preferences.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
