Notice Description

The suppler will be working with Young Adults (Age Range 18-25) and Parent/Carers (18+) as well as professionals (18+) who have experience of the transition process from Children's Health Services to Adult Health Service. This will include Young Adults who are Neurodiverse, have a learning disability or have received support for their mental health.The key tasks for the supplier is to provide face to face and virtual training sessions for participants to learn the public narrative technique, background, theory and why it linked to systems change. This training must be delivered in accessible formats, be appropriate and adaptive for the participants in each group. The supplier must have the ability to provide this training in Welsh and English. (We will work with providers to develop the detail of this delivery following contract award)The Supplier will provide face to face and virtual coaching for each participant to support them in the development of an individual public narrative. This narrative will be recorded via a method the participant has provided consent for and could include audio, filmed and/or artistic mediums. This coaching must be delivered in accessible formats, be appropriate and adaptive for the participants in each group. The supplier must have the ability to provide this coaching in Welsh and English.The Supplier will be required to hold audio, filmed and artistic medium recordings in a safe and secure platform that allows for transfer to BCUHB internal systems on completion of the project.Resources Implications will include Venue Hire Costs, Travel across North Wales, Translation into Welsh, Bilingual delivery when required, costs of materials and filmed audio recording. Production of short summary report identifying themes and key points of learning.Support will be made available to the supplier to ensure participants wellbeing, safeguarding and practical support with the delivery of training and coaching elements. Participants will be identified by BCUHB and all permissions/consent requirements obtained prior to this project being initiated.Approximate days required for delivery 9 -12 days. Staffing levels required 1 trainer per group (4 groups, 1 per geographical area East, Central and West and 1 online) 25 Participants per group.Flexibility - As a Health Board we understand the importance of working effectively with partners and would like to note that we will be flexible in how sessions are delivered and will work with providers on the full detail of the delivery following contract award.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
